Rescue Operation of Titan’s Submarine
What Happened to the Submarine?
Five person boarded the submersible named Titan owned by OceanGate company in expedition to the Titanic wreckage. Crew of Polar Prince research ship lost its contact with the Titan’s after an hour and forty-five minutes.

Finally, the debris was found on 22nd june 2023 (journey started on 18th june 2023). US navy official has detected “an acoustic anomaly consistent with an implosion” shortly after the submarine lost its contact with the surface.
The catastrophic implosion had taken place in a matter of thousandth of second. It would have happened so quickly that none of the passengers would have realized as what happened , they didn’t get time even to think about it.
Search and Rescue Effort
On 22nd June 2023 , a Canadian Vessel, Horizon Arctic had deployed a remotely operated underwater vehicle that reached the sea floor. The ROV ultimately located the tail cone of submarine in the location described by the coast guard.
The debris includes identifiable pieces of sub which confirms the catastrophic implosion. The submarine debris was around 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic on the sea floor.
