Facebook , also known as meta their team is looking for an text based platform which can compete Elon Musk’s Twitter. As per updates meta is working on a project having code name P92, which would be build as an standalone application. In this new Application users need to login with their Instagram credentials.

After Elon Musk took charge of Twitter and updated some rules of twitter. Large no. of Twitter uses are looking for an alternate option. This new platform from meta can attract a lot of users from twitter who are looking for an alternate option of Twitter.

This new platform is being developed by Instagram head Adam Mosseri as per platformer. This new app will now keep it’s footprint in Elon Musk’s  Twitter. Today meta have Facebook , Instagram , WhatsApp and now they will try to capture in area of Twitter which is dominants by Elon Musk.

We’ are exploring a standalone decentralized social network for sharing text updates, as per meta spokesperson, “We believe there an opportunity for separate space where creators and public figures can share timely update their interests.”

However it’s still not clear that how long meta will take time to develop P92 product, as per MoneyControl who was the first who got this news , said a person which is familiar with this matter and this idea is still in progress.

But meta is looking out some simple ways for integration with Twitter and Mastodon. Not sure how much this integration will help but yes this might give them a faster boost instead of developing new app.

As per Meta

“Users on apps [like Mastodon] will be able to search for, follow and interact with your profile and your content if you’re public, or if you’re private and approve them as followers. This allows you to reach new audiences with no added work. In addition, creators may be eligible to be recommended to people who don’t yet follow them.”

KoverStory FeedbackMeta always looks for an need and opportunity so it seems that they will be launch their app soon. So stay tuned for for updates.
